One of my favorite things about graduation photography is how personal each session can be, and Hannah’s was the perfect example. Hannah graduated this December with her master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Instead of taking photos on campus, we met at Bear Creek Park in Colorado Springs, where she lives. Because her program was remote, campus wasn’t a big part of her day-to-day experience. Choosing a location that truly felt like her made the session even more meaningful.

Bear Creek Park is a beautiful setting for portrait sessions, with mountain views, tall trees, and golden-hour light that hits just right. Hannah’s session took place in late fall, and I was thrilled to still find pockets of color throughout the park. We explored a few different spots to capture a mix of classic graduation portraits and more relaxed, lifestyle images.
