In terms of color, Zach and Kaleigh had the most perfect day for their engagement photos. This was actually a combined proposal/engagement session. I hiked to the end of Picnic Point and was just casually “relaxing” until the big moment. Funny enough, Zach had to convince Kaleigh to go check out the end of the point. Kaleigh didn’t know who I was at the time, but saw me sitting there and didn’t want to disturb me. Thankfully he got her to walk down the steps to the very edge, where his proposal was supposed to happen.  Kaleigh was genuinely so surprised!! And also surprised to find a random person taking photos of their special moment (good job Zach 🙂).

From there, I introduced myself and we walked along the path capturing gorgeous fall engagement photos along the way. After we exhausted the Picnic Point path, we headed to downtown Madison for an outfit change and to capture a different feel. We shot photos near the Wisconsin Historical Society and UW-Madison’s Memorial Union. I absolutely love all the variety that we managed to capture in a short amount of time. Congrats again Zach and Kaleigh! I had a blast working with you two.
