I had the best time photographing engagement photos for Valerie and Niko at Brainard Lake in Ward, Colorado. First of all, this location is stunning.  The light was also perfect this early August evening. I personally love when there are a few clouds in the sky because it creates depth in the background and also helps to diffuse the setting sun.  Keep scrolling through the photos to witness the gorgeous glow!

Brainard Lake was surprisingly empty that evening, so we took full advantage of the area. I’m happy with the variety of images we were able to fit in before sunset.

These two are the sweetest couple! They are tying the knot next year in Chicago and I couldn’t be more excited for them! 😊
