I met up with these two college sweethearts in early November for their downtown Milwaukee engagement session. Sierra was hoping to capture different city looks, so we did quite a bit of walking around Milwaukee. We started taking photos near the Third Ward Riverwalk. I was happy to find a few bursts of fall colors along the boardwalk so late in the season. From there, we headed North to try to capture more of a “big city” feel. Alex and Sierra danced in the streets, explored the East Town neighborhood riverwalk, and walked all the way to Pere Marquette Park. After a few quick photos at the park, we turned around and headed back so we could reconnect at Kilbourn Reservoir Park before sunset. If you have not been to Kilbourn Reservoir Park, you should check it out! The Riverwest neighborhood park is basically a giant hill that offers gorgeous views of downtown Milwaukee.
I had such a great evening with Alex & Sierra. I’m looking forward to their wedding next year at Waukesha’s
Historic Courthouse 1893.
