The real highlight of the day for me, was watching these two commit to each other in their gorgeous outdoor ceremony space. Marissa and Brandon are some of most genuine people ever and they make the perfect pair. Congrats again you two!

Q: Why did you pick the venue that you chose?

We both love the natural world. We met in college with Brandon studying Geology and Zoology, and Marissa studying Botany. We wanted to choose a venue and decor that represented the beauty of nature, and what better place to celebrate than the Boerner Botanical Gardens!

Q: What is one piece of advice you would give another bride who is in the planning phase?

Start with the part that most excites you. For me, that was finding the right venue and the right color scheme. Then, finding a photographer that is able to capture your style in the way that you wish. Finally, when you are getting overwhelmed in the process, take a step back and remember that at the end of all of it, you will get to marry your true love and be together forever!
