Milwaukee Wedding at The Saint Kate Arts Hotel and Gesu Church

December 26, 2024
Mike and Erica’s love story began in Madison, Wisconsin, where they instantly knew they had found something extraordinary in each other. When it came time to plan their wedding, Milwaukee was the perfect choice, as it’s home to both of their families. Their special day began with getting ready at the Saint Kates art hotel. From there, everyone headed to the beautiful Gesu Parish for their ceremony. Post ceremony, we were off to capture wedding party and couple portraits. Although we planned for lakefront/outdoor portraits, the weather had other plans. Despite super last minute location changes, I’m love the portraits we were able to capture. As the day transitioned into evening, everyone returned to Saint Kate for a reception filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and joyous celebration. Erica and Mike wanted their photos to feel real, natural, and true to who they are—and their love shines brilliantly in every frame. Congratulations, Erica and Mike—your day was as unforgettable as your connection!

Are you engaged and searching for a Milwaukee wedding venue? This is why Erica and Mike chose Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel

“We love the Saint Kate because it is creative and fun – and the food is fantastic! It felt like the perfect venue for us.”

What inspired your wedding decor? Did you have a theme in mind?

“Our wedding decor is classic and simple – with a little bit of glamour. We didn’t have a theme in mind. We picked things that we liked, and thankfully it all came together!”

Do you have any advice for future couples during planning process?

“Wedding planning can be chaotic. Just remember that the most important thing at the end of the day is the two of you. Things won’t all go according to plan, but if you try not to take it all too seriously, it won’t bother you too much.”
