I absolutely love photographing proposals. There is nothing better than having the opportunity to witness one of the best moments of someone’s life.

This proposal took place near the Edgewater Hotel in Madison, Wisconsin. Vighnesh coordinated the shoot with me beforehand, and then flew into Madison to propose to Ankitha. Ankitha was sooo surprised because she hadn’t heard from him and thought he was working all weekend (he currently lives on the East Coast). Besides the unexpected rain, the moment could have not been more magical.

After the proposal, we took some fun portraits around The Edgewater hotel and in the street overlooking the Wisconsin State Capitol. We appreciated whoever got married and left their florals all over the terrace. Those definitely added some color and pop to the rainy day (& made for a fun ring shot). Congrats again you two!!
