Last weekend I had the opportunity to shoot the 2019 Madison Area Polar Plunge for Special Olympics of Wisconsin. This annual event raises money to help Special Olympic athletes across the state train and compete year round in 18 different sports. I have been in Madison awhile, but had never been to this event before, so had a lot of fun spectating. I was very impressed by all the creative outfits and large number of people so willing to take the plunge into icy-cold Lake Monona! Check out some of my favorite photos from the event below.
