Can you believe this winter is almost here? I have a love/hate relationship with winter because I absolutely love snow and winter sports, but am so not a fan of the cold. However, I am willing to shiver just a little bit for snowy winter engagement sessions (because they are just stunning!).

I met up with Marissa & Brandon at locations surrounding the UW-Madison Arboretum. We started at Vilas Park area, then walked down the middle of Arboretum drive to capture gorgeous winter walking photos & more.

Marissa & Brandon – your session may be one of my favorite sessions ever! You two had the perfect day (minus the very wet snow. 🙂 ).  Despite trekking through deep snow piles, you were both such great sports and were willing to try anything I threw at you. You definitely nailed the “adventure engagement session.”

A few fun facts about Marissa & Brandon:

• They met at the student org fair in college. He was the president of the paleontology club and she was president of botany club.
• They absolutely love the outdoors (can you tell? 😉)
• They have two cats together and lots of house plants.

Marissa & Brandon your love for each other practically leaps off the screen and is very evident in these photos. You two are so great & I can’t wait to spend more time with you at your Boerner Botanical Garden wedding next fall!
