Nzuekoh and Brandon committed to each other inside the beautiful historic
Calvary Presbyterian Church, otherwise known as “
Milwaukee’s Big Red Church.” After their ceremony, they headed across the street to the
Wisconsin Club to celebrate with their friends and family. There was so much positive energy from both the bridal party and guests throughout the day. As a nod to Nzuekoh’s heritage, the couple & Nzuekoh’s parents did a Cameroonian attire re-entrance halfway through the reception. I have photographed many, many weddings, and have not seen a dance floor quite so hyped in awhile. I loved so many parts of their day, but especially watching all the dancing. Congrats again you two!

Are you engaged and searching for a Milwaukee wedding venue? This is why Nzuekoh and Brandon chose
The Wisconsin Club.
“We wanted a venue that incorporated our faith traditions, fit a classic aesthetic and was accessible to guests coming to Milwaukee.”
What inspired your wedding decor? Did you have a theme in mind?
“My personal style is classic so I wanted to bring that timeless elegance into the theme. Brandon and I met within the neighborhood of a university campus, so that academic aesthetic was also something we wanted to incorporate.”
Do you have any advice for future couples during planning process?
“Start planning even earlier than you initially think is sufficient, find an organized way to keep track of details and readily and openly communicate with all those involved in the process with you. And try to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime season.”
