When a lot of people think of Lake Dillon in Colorado, they think of Sapphire Point (which to be fair is a gorgeous location!). However, have you considered having your engagement or other portrait session at the base of the lake instead? I think Lake Dillon is a great spot for portraits because it’s less crowded, there are plenty of parking options, and it still offers greenery and beautiful mountain views. It’s a very accessible location all year round. If you visit in the winter like Kallan and Will did, you can walk on the frozen lake!
