Elle and Jackson’s December ski engagement session at Vail was a true reflection of who they are and how they love to spend time together. Originally from Atlanta, the two moved to Colorado together after college and wanted their engagement photos to reflect the place—and lifestyle—they now love. With a destination wedding planned for later in 2026, they chose to celebrate this season of life with a fun, laid-back session on the mountain doing what they enjoy most: skiing.
We captured posed portraits in iconic locations like the Legendary Back Bowls sign and the Mount of the Holy Cross overlook deck, then spent the rest of the session skiing Vail and documenting joyful, candid action shots.
