If you have visited Breckenridge, Colorado, you may have skied 4 o’clock to town, but did you know there is a gorgeous reservoir just a short walk from that trail? Sawmill Reservoir is a 10-acre lake resting at 9,938 feet in elevation and is surrounded by White River National Forest land. During the winter the reservoir is often quiet, which makes it a great place for engagement photos. If you visit at the right time the reservoir will be frozen over and you can walk on it. That was the case for Crystal and Ben’s engagement session. The snow was actually quite deep, but they were such great sports about it. Crystal and Ben’s photo session was so playful and fun – even their dog was loving the excitement (or maybe just the snow 🙂 ). Enjoy a few of my favorite photos.
